Online Shopping

There was a survey held in North America about a problem that plague almost all people. It was the lack of time to do what needs to be done. Business People, Entrepreneurs, Families and every individual experiences this kind of difficulty managing time. It is something that no magic spells or special time machine can help. It cannot stretch out nor lengthen the seconds or minutes of time. To understand clearly, lack of time is the result of you being managed by it and not you managing the time. Furthermore, it is you ruled by it wasting your important and productive moments instead of spending it to a more essential related activities.

Make every second counts. As one of the important members of the family...being the father or the mother, think of ways that you can help to make your seconds count. There are many simple techniques but one way that will benefit you a lot is by shopping online. Just think about it. You will save a lot of precious moments that you could enjoy and spend time with your family...to your kids particularly. You don’t need to waste time in dressing up, driving to the mall, you can avoid the noisy environment and you can save gas too plus you are out of a danger zone.

Shopping on line is fast and easy. It is totally a hassle free. You can find anything and everything you need just by a click away. They have guides to assist you to get the item that you wanted.

As I navigate it, I find Indoor light fixtures very interesting. Indoor light fixtures can add light and decoration to a space when there isn't room for a table or floor lamp and in our house, there is a perfect spot for one of these. Under cabinet lighting is the one I am delighted with for our kitchen because it is easy to install. I like also the recessed lighting because it inconspicuously provides quality lighting and actually that is what we have in the house. It is ideal for low ceilings or smaller rooms. Another eye catching is the hanging lamps. It brighten the entire room with its color that reflects your personal style. It reminds me of my Aunt Auring back in the Philippines. She had then a Capiz export business and with that, I became familiar with the intricate procedures in making hanging lamps made of Capiz. You can select many more to what style you prefer. Name it and they have it.

With their products, you will be satisfied with their quality and designs plus you will be amazed with the savings you will get and of course by shopping online with them, you make every second counts.

Night Out with our friend Chris

We just arrived home from Chicago Restaurant with my husband and Chris, his bestfriend. Chris had a gift card in that restaurant and he received it as a token of appreciation working as a Basketball Referee in College View Academy. We had fun. Being with Chris is always a great moment for us. By the way, Chris is our Bestman in our wedding and so we had a good bonding as friends. We went out together always specially on Saturday lunch and Wednesday dinner. Were neighbors too...that make our friendship more solid.

Paintballing

When i was still in the Philippines, I had friends in the office who enjoyed mountain climbing with me. I assisted them twice already with a help of my friend Jerry Duyo, in Mount Batulao and Mount Pico Deloro. Like me, they are adventurous and would like challenging activities. After a climb, one of the group members suggested of going to play jt paintball and everyone agreed. I am so excited to experience how it works and how it is played but unfortunately, it was postponed. Anyways, Paintball is a sport which players eliminate opponents by hitting them with pellets containing paint. Just from the description, it will elate you because it sound so interesting. It can be played indoors or outdoors which give you best option. Actually, i am planning to request my husband to play jt paintball one of these days. I will going to encourage some of our friends too to play with us to make it more interesting.

Job Hunt

We went at Hay Market just awhile ago. Ate Nila, Kuya Dennis and a friend fetched me here at the house to join them. What is our purpose? Job hunting. I have a work right now as a Tax preparer but it will last till April...just during Tax season. I am thinking that it is a good idea to look for another one that will accomodate me on May. It is too soon maybe but it's ok. I enjoyed with my friends. We just consumed little time actually specially me. I just requested mostly their website where I can apply online. I feel more comfortable applying online than in person.
After that, we stopped in an old icecream house nearby and spent time chatting and of course enjoying the delicious icecream.

Certificate of Deposit

As a bank customer for long period of time, we became familiar with bank transactions and terms that is used in communicating with them. It is amazing that we learn things in different ways like just from simply listening to people. I had the opportunity to work for almost two years with Asian Bank before and it was a great experience being an employee of a banking business. We met people from different walks of life, others are regular clients, others are new. But there is one common thing to them…they talk about money. It is a notable feeling because most of the people talk about it. Just a reminder though, we have to be wise in spending our money.

I remember the term CDs. This is a word well used by businessmen. CD means Certificate of Deposit, a financial product commonly offered to consumers by banks or credit unions and other financial institutions which is similar to savings account because they are insured and risk free. In some way, they are different because CD has specific terms thus it is also called a time deposit. This time of year, Bank’s compete businesses by offering attractive CD Rates for various durations of time.

May this will give light to everyone making way of helping eachother. It may be difficult to cope up with the economic crisis but in giving the best will make a change.

Bear Grylls

I just have watched the Man vs Wild by Bear Grylls in the Discovery Channel. It was all about technique survival in the jungle and being able to go out in the civilization safe and alive from a harsh condition along the way. I am so much interested on it and so I searched for Bear Grylls information at Discovery.com. I was so amazed of this man. I respect and admire him much. Here is his story and accomplishments from Discovery.com.

"MAN VS. WILD host, author and seasoned adventurer Bear Grylls began a lifetime of exploration at an early age. Bear grew up on the Isle of Wight, and as a young boy would go mountain climbing with his father.

He served three years with the Special Air Service, a special forces unit of the British army. During his service, he broke his back in three places in a parachuting accident over Southern Africa.

Despite the accident and severity of his injury, Bear went on in 1998 to become, at age 23, the youngest British climber to complete a summit and descent of Mount Everest. He wrote about his experience in the book, The Kid Who Climbed Everest.

Not content to slow down, Bear achieved another first when he and his Everest climbing group circumnavigated the United Kingdom on jet skis. He also led the first unassisted crossing of the frozen North Atlantic Ocean in an open rigid inflatable boat. His book about this adventure, Facing the Frozen Ocean, was shortlisted as the U.K.'s "Sports Book of the Year." Bear was awarded a commission in the Royal Navy in honor of leading this record-breaking expedition.

In June 2005, Bear broke a world record by hosting a dinner party at a table suspended below a hot air balloon at 24,500 feet. He rappelled from the balloon's basket to the table, where in full naval uniform he ate a three-course meal before saluting the queen and skydiving to earth. His goal was to support the work of two charities: the Prince's Trust and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Bear hosted a 2005 television series for the U.K.'s Channel Four, called Escape to the Legion, in which he took a group of young men to the Western Sahara Desert to undergo the French Foreign Legion's infamous basic training. A second Channel Four series, titled Born Survivor: Bear Grylls, completed its U.K. run in April 2007.

On May 15, 2007, Bear set another world record when he became the first person to fly over Mount Everest by powered paraglider. Supported by the GKN Mission Everest Team, Grylls and fellow pilot Giles (Gilo) Gardozo flew specially developed paramotors. Though a fault in Gilo's machine forced him to abort only 1,000 feet below the summit, Bear continued to ascend until he reached 29,500 feet and was able to look down on Everest as he circled above some of the most famous peaks in the Himalayas. Then his own engine developed problems and he, too, had to glide back to safety — but he had achieved his goal. The mission raised $1 million for the Global Angels Foundation, a charity that supports children in Africa. Filmed by the Planet Earth team, Bear and Gilo's undertaking will be made into a two-hour documentary for Discovery Channel and Channel Four in the U.K.

Bear's most recent book, Born Survivor: Survival Techniques From the Most Dangerous Places on Earth, was released in spring 2007. It is already listed on the Sunday Times Top 10 Best-Seller List.

He has hosted the Discovery Channel's MAN VS. WILD, in which he strands himself in remote locations to demonstrate localized survival techniques, since November 2006.

Bear lives on a converted barge on the River Thames with his wife Shara and their young sons Jesse and Marmaduke.

Bear Grylls and the crew receive support when they are in potentially life threatening situations, as required by health and safety regulations.
On some occasions, situations are presented to Bear so he can demonstrate survival techniques.

Professional advice should always be sought before entering any dangerous environment.

Thank God for giving me wonderful gifts through my Husband and friends

I was so busy the previous days and even today and so I decided not to go anywhere...i just stay home and slept a little longer. This mornning, when I woke up, I had fun with the fish, flowered the plants and fed the squirrel. I was so exhausted and tired before but today, i had a refreshing day. It is like I am fully charged again with enough strength in facing this week challenges. It feels good too to be able to talk to my friend Michelle. Even if I am alone at home in some of my time, I felt cheered up and inspired by her. We talk a lot through cellphone or through net like she is just around the house. I feel blessed to have her as my best friend.

Last Saturday Evening, We had a great time. We had a party and the whole family of my husband arrived for his birthday. We had a memorable moment. I am so happy that I met his nephews and nieces again... his brothers and sis and brother in law. Mom and Dad is not around in Lincoln for now because they are in Florida until April maybe. We enjoyed the moment being together...had fun with movies and food. Actually, Montes family went home at around 2:30 early morning. What a great evening. I observed my husband that night and he was very happy specially when he blew the candles in the cake. What a special moment for him and for the family and for that I am very happy too.
